ABOUT

The WORD Churches exist to lead people to a life-changing relationship with Jesus. No matter what you’ve been through or what questions you might have or where you are on your spiritual journey, our church is a place where you’ll find the grace, mercy, and forgiveness Jesus gives to everyone.

We invite you to worship with us this Sunday!

Our Core Values

  • Empower Worship by being more GIVING

Do not worship any other god than the one true God.

    Exodus 20:3

  • Engage Outreach by GOING and GROWING

Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourself. Do what it says.

    James 1:22

  • Embrace Relationships by being more LOVING

A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.

    John 13:34-35

  • Encourage Discipleship by being more FORGIVING & Less Judgmental

Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed him, "If you abide in my word, you are my disciples."

    John 8:31

What to Expect

  • The WORD Churches Sunday services begin with an energetic and engaging worship experience. Feel free to sit, kneel, stand, clap, dance, lift your hands, or visit the prayer wall during worship. Worship is about connecting with God and not external appearances.

Our Pastors teach Bible-based messages with practical application to encourage you to live out your faith during the week.

Personal prayer is always available during the worship segment and alter call. At the appropriate time, feel welcome to come forward and receive prayer for any needs.

  • Attire at The WORD Churches ranges from suits to jeans, t-shirts, and even shorts. Our goal is not to impress others or hold a fashion show, it is to connect with God, so wear what makes you feel most comfortable!

  • If you have children under the age of 3, The WORD Churches has a team of loving, trained volunteers in our secure nursery area. For children 3 years olds through 5th grade, we have a children’s church. A fun, upbeat service that includes music, games, and a bible lesson taught at their level. We encourage middle and high school students to join their parents in the adult service.

  • In the verbal inspiration of the Bible.

  • In one God eternally existing in three persons; namely, the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

  • That Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Ghost, and born of the Virgin Mary. That Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead. That He ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as the Intercessor.

  • That all have sinned and come short of the glory of God and that repentance is commanded of God for all and necessary for forgiveness of sins.

  • That justification, regeneration, and the new birth are wrought by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ.

  • In sanctification subsequent to the new birth, through faith in the blood of Christ; through the Word, and by the Holy Ghost.

  • Holiness to be God's standard of living for His people.

  • In the baptism with the Holy Ghost subsequent to a clean heart.

  • In speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance and that it is the initial evidence of the baptism of the Holy Ghost.

  • In water baptism by immersion, and all who repent should be baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.

  • Divine healing is provided for all in the atonement.

  • In the Lord's Supper and washing of the saints' feet.

  • In the premillennial second coming of Jesus. First, to resurrect the righteous dead and to catch away the living saints to Him in the air. Second, to reign on the earth a thousand years.

  • In the bodily resurrection; eternal life for the righteous, and eternal punishment for the wicked.
